I recently moved into my first apartment without roommates, that combined with having ditched most of my college furniture meant that my new apartment has been pretty sparse. Instead of searching the thrift stores or buying new furniture I have opted to build as much as possible. First project finished is a pair of walnut plywood book shelves, with steel cables for bracing, and  hairpin legs. Not sure if I like the red one or the natural finish one the best. If you like one better than the other leave me a comment and tell me about it.
